APRIL
World Autism Awareness Month
Variety - the Children’s Charity helps kids facing challenges with sickness, disability, or disadvantage. One of the most common conditions Variety provides support for is Autism through the provision of transformative technology, software, and multisensory rooms and one of their biggest areas of demand, funding assistance dogs. These special dogs are trained to increase independence and confidence, reduce anxiety, and are game-changers for kids and families who receive them.
Variety is excited to team up with gamers and creators to raise awareness and funds to help as many kids as possible this April for Autism Awareness Month.
JUNE
Bikes for Kids!
Each June, we run our Bikes for Kids campaign. You can help provide a child with one of the biggest moments of their life - getting their first bike!
We need to raise 450 bikes to provide joy, inclusion, physical AND mental benefits to kids who would otherwise miss out. AND this year we're also fundraising for 19 special adaptive bikes so kids to bring these life-changing benefits to kids living with disability.
We're inviting you and the Level Up for Kids crew to take part by streaming for kids in need, or even physically riding bikes!
OCTOBER
Spooktober
Calling all creators who love spooky games! Variety Spooktober is a month long event raising funds and awareness for kids in need where funds raised go to life-changing equipment for kids who need it.
Play your favourite horror game, and get freaky with your incentives. You can even theme up your stream with our Spooktober broadcast kit and get the word out with our chillingly eerie social tiles!
DECEMBER
Press X(Mas)
Bring joy and hope to kids and families this holiday season!
Every year Variety – the Children’s Charity arrange special toy deliveries to our most vulnerable families, and we want our awesome streaming community to be a part of it! Join us by holding a Press X(Mas) stream or making a donation this holiday season.
